Exergie Energy (“Exergie Energy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates exergieenergy.com (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, and how it’s stored, shared and protected. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Consultation / site-visit requests. When you submit our “Get Free Consultation” or “Book a Free Consultation” form, we collect: full name, mobile number, email address, state, city, property type, your monthly electricity bill range, preferred consultation date and time slot, and any message you add.

Customer reviews. If you submit a review through the Site, we collect your name, city/location, star rating, review text, and an optional email address.

Theme preference. The Site remembers whether you prefer light or dark mode using your browser’s local storage. This is a display setting only, stays on your device, and is never sent to us or anyone else.

Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information (such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited) for security and reliability purposes. We do not currently run analytics or advertising trackers on the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To respond to your consultation or site-visit request and get in touch by phone, WhatsApp, or email.
• To prepare a solar/battery/EV charging recommendation and quote relevant to your property and usage.
• To schedule and coordinate site visits and installations.
• To publish customer reviews on the Site, as described below.
• To maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party.

3. Reviews Are Published Publicly

If you submit a customer review, your name, city/location, star rating, and review text are displayed publicly on the Site once approved. Your email address, if provided, is kept private and is never shown publicly — it’s used only if we need to verify or follow up on the review. If you’d like a published review removed or edited, contact us using the details in Section 8.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with a small number of service providers strictly to operate the Site and respond to your enquiry:

• Supabase — our database provider, which stores consultation requests and reviews securely.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you use our WhatsApp links, your conversation is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, not ours.
• Google Fonts — used to load the typefaces on this Site.
• Google Maps — used to embed our office location map on the Contact section.

These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain consultation and site-visit request data for as long as needed to respond to your enquiry and, where you become a customer, for the duration of our service relationship and any period required by applicable law. Published reviews are retained until you ask us to remove them or the Site is redesigned.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures (including encrypted storage and access controls) to protect the information you share with us. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
